The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in microeconomic theory to begin August 2023. The initial application deadline is November 18, 2022.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Teach a microeconomic theory course in the Ph.D. core.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses.

- Provide professional service to the department, university, and the economics profession.

What We Can Offer
The salary for this position is $135,000-$145,000.

What We Require
- A Ph.D. in economics or Ph.D. in a closely related discipline that fosters microeconomics research including but not limited to business, public policy, mathematics, or statistics.
- While ordinarily, you should have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. by August 2023, it is possible for you to have finished all but the dissertation to begin work as an instructor while completing the degree.
- A Ph.D. is required for reappointment.
