Who We Are
Founded in 2007 thanks to a generous donation from Pam Samuelson and Bob Glushko, the clinic was among the first of the technology law and policy clinics in the country. Today, it is a central part of Colorado Law’s highly regarded technology and intellectual property law curriculum, alongside the law school’s array of faculty specializing in technology and intellectual property and its interdisciplinary Silicon Flatirons Center. The clinic offers students an interdisciplinary, hands-on opportunity to make an impact on cutting-edge technology policy issues in the public interest, with a diverse range of project work that has historically emphasized the intersection of technology with telecommunications, intellectual property, privacy, and disability law.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
The clinical faculty member is responsible for creating a docket of cases and projects that will expose students to a variety of real telecommunications, intellectual property, privacy, accessibility, and other policy and regulatory matters with substantial technology dimensions. The clinical faculty member has primary responsibility for supervising students in their case or project work, and for organizing and teaching a companion clinical seminar.
