Job Summary

The Department of Biochemistry at CU Boulder seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the area of biochemistry to begin in the Fall of 2019. The area of research is broadly defined to include all aspects of biochemical and biophysical research. We particularly welcome applications focusing on studies of macromolecular complexes, as well as applicants using computational biology and biophysical approaches to study biological processes. Applicants are expected to establish an innovative research program; research at the interface of the biological sciences, physical sciences, computer science, and/or engineering is encouraged. The candidate is expected to lead a productive, externally funded research program and take an active role in undergraduate and graduate teaching. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. To ensure full consideration, complete applications should be received by November 1, 2018.
