Job Summary

The Department of English at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Early Modern / Renaissance literature, with a start date of August 2019. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for a publishing career commensurate with the expectations of a Research 1 institution. The position carries a 2/2 course load with expectations for teaching at all levels of the undergraduate and graduate curriculum. What We Require

Minimum Qualifications: 
  • PhD in English. 
  • Plan for a first monograph.
  • ABD candidates will be considered; however, PhD must be completed by August 19, 2019 to be appointed at the assistant professor level. Otherwise, ABD candidates will be hired at the instructor-rank.
