The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring an Assistant Professor position in the Division of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics (OLIA) for Fall 2024.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • The candidate will engage students and faculty from diverse disciplines and actively participate in curriculum development and other programmatic initiatives that encourage curiosity and creativity within research and learning.
  • The position provides an opportunity to engage with a breadth of technology initiatives and departments, including Computer Science, Information Science, ATLAS, and Silicon Flatirons.

What We Can Offer

The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $185,000 annually.

What We Require

  • Ph.D. degree in information systems, information science, computer science, or other related disciplines.
  • Research demonstrating ability to solve difficult problems.
  • Strong understanding of methods, procedures, and approaches within the candidate’s area of research.
  • Ability to publish original research in the top information systems journals.
  • Teaching ability in the topics mentioned above.
  • Note: Candidates who have not yet conferred their degree will be appointed as an Instructor until the semester following the degree conferral.

What We Would Like You to Have

  • Views technology as a tool in his/her research and teaching but seeks out unorthodox and unique approaches.
  • Possesses experience and a willingness to develop educational programs.
  • Has experience teaching at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.
  • Thinks creatively, critically, and conceptually about technological practices.
