Job Summary
We are looking for a teacher who can help us to continue to build our national reputation for graduating excellent public relations students. Applicants should have demonstrated experience and expertise in the practice of public relations.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
The effort distribution associated with this position is 75% teaching and 25% service. The successful candidate will teach three classes per semester in our undergraduate public relations curriculum. This position is also expected to encourage and to support student participation in local and national awards, internship opportunities, student involvement in professional associations, and student events run by CU, CMDI, and/or APRD.

The salary range for an Assistant Teaching Professor position is $75,000-$85,000.

Be Statements
What We Require
- A master’s degree in strategic communication, corporate communication, public relations, or closely aligned field.
- Professional experience in public relations.
- Experience teaching at the university level, including proven evidence of teaching quality.
What You Will Need
- Demonstrated commitment to and experience with inclusive pedagogies and the mentoring of a diverse range of undergraduate students and openness to creative interchange with colleagues.
- Experience developing communications strategies for recognized organizations, corporations and/or brands, locally, nationally and/or internationally.
