Job Summary

Support the Finance Department with Tier-1 application support and data processing. Addresses, analyzes, and resolves issues and stakeholder requests in an effective and timely manner. Implements projects for administrative applications and SaaS platforms. Works with little supervision to complete tasks. Ability to accomplish independent project tasks as well as backlog of issues and requests.

LASP is a world-renowned space science research institute at the University of Colorado Boulder. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Provide direct support services to Finance end-users with technical problems related to applications and SaaS platforms.
  • Processes stakeholder requests to ensure timely resolution or appropriate escalation that optimizes customer satisfaction and minimizes disruptions.
  • Configuration and support of applications.
  • Contribute to the development of operational procedures and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other Information Services team on processes, solutions, and feature releases.
  • Assist in the direction and training of student employees.
  • Execute projects that enhance features and capabilities on applications and SaaS platforms.

  • The salary range for this position is $45,991.20 - $64,431.84. 
  • We offer a generous retirement plan that includes 200% matching for the first 5% contributed with immediate vesting.

What We Require

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Management, Computer Science or related field.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to handle multiple and concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency in each task.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

What We Would Like You To Have

  • General knowledge of Finance, Human Resources, and Business Processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel VBA, Power Query, and Power Pivot; Power BI; SharePoint Online; and the Microsoft Power platform.
  • Experience constructing simple queries in SQL.
  • Entry-level knowledge of at least of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, or PHP.
