The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a Full-time Instructor (non-tenure-track) in Information Systems (CRM) beginning August 2021.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

CRM (customer relationship management) offers a set of tools to help organizations organize customer information, manage customer relationships, and improve sales.  The Division of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics within the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder seeks an instructor or senior instructor to teach CRM (customer relationship management) preferably within the Salesforce ecosystem. Instructors typically teach seven courses a year and engage in service activities.

What We Can Offer

Rank and salary (range is $70,000 - $85,000) will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and based on the University of Colorado pay scale. Relocation assistance, a computer and a faculty development account will be provided.

What We Require

  • Knowledge of requirements gathering, solutions development, implementation, and experience support in Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of technological differences between ERP’s on-premises solution and CRM’s cloud-based delivery model.
  • Knowledge of ‘leading systems’ in data exchange.
  • Knowledge of the most common real-time API interfaces and Integration platforms.
  • Teaching experience in the topics mentioned above.
  • Master’s degree in information systems, information science, computer science, or other related discipline.

What We Would Like You To Have

  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in cross-platform design and build solutions.
  • Integration experience between ERP and CRM, such as SAP (ERP) to Salesforce (CRM) synchronizing data between the two systems.
  • Knowledge of Intermediate Documents (IDocs), Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), and SAP Java Connector (JCo).
  • Existing Salesforce certi­fication for administrator, architect, consultant, developer or marketer and familiarity with Trailhead Academy.
  • Knowledge of the integrated CRM modules as part of an ERP solution with experience in the C_TCR20_73 certification process.
  • Experience in curriculum and programmatic development.
  • Experience teaching at an undergraduate and master’s level.
  • Experience advising students.
  • Experience in Hybrid and On-Line Teaching Environments.
  • Ph.D. degree in information systems, information science, computer science, or other related disciplines is preferred.
  • Industry and/or government experience is a plus.
  • Statistics or machine learning teaching experience is a plus.
