Job Summary

The Division of Organizational Leadership and Information Analytics within the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder seeks one one Full-time Instructor (instructor or senior instructor) to teach undergraduate, and possibly graduate, management, leadership, organizational behavior and courses.  Instructors typically teach seven classes a year and engage in service activities.

This full-time Instructor (non-tenure-track) position will begin August 2022. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and based on the University of Colorado pay scale.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

An instructor or senior instructor teach undergraduate, and possibly graduate, management, leadership, organizational behavior and courses. Instructors typically teach seven classes a year and engage in service activities. The classes will likely include, Essential Management Skills, Managing Employee Reward Systems, International Business and Management, Business Leadership, Negotiation & Conflict Management, Foundations of Teamwork, and Foundations of Leadership.

What We Can Offer

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000.

What We Require

  • Masters degree in a relevant field, such as management, leadership, organizational behavior.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach management, leadership, negotiation, teamwork, international management and organizational behavior in an applied context to midsize undergraduate classroom sections (approximately 75 students).
  • Willingness to teach at both the undergraduate and masters level.
  • Experience in innovative teaching approaches.
  • Experience and willingness to work with a team of instructors.

What We Would Like You To Have

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field, such as management, leadership, organizational behavior.
  • Three years experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
  • Experience in Hybrid and On-Line Teaching Environments.
  • Experience with using iClickers or similar for formative assessment.
  • Experience in curriculum and programmatic development.
  • Experience advising students
  • Statistics, analytics, and machine learning teaching experience is a plus.
  • Ability to teach general business topics.
