The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring one Open Rank Position in Operations: Assistant Professor, Associate, or Full Professor, to start in Fall 2023.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Job Duties for all Openings: 
  • Research, teaching, and service to the university and profession.
  • The primary responsibility of the position is to conduct high-quality scholarly research and to teach at undergraduate, MBA, masters, and/or doctoral levels in Operations Management. Strong inter-disciplinary interest in related fields, such as economics, information systems, and computer science is a plus.

What We Can Offer

The salary ranges for this position:
  • Assistant Professor: $170,000-$195,000
  • Associate Professor: $190,000 - $215,000
  • Full Professor. $240,000-$300,000

What We Require

Assistant Professor Requirements:
  • Ph.D. degree in operations management, operations research, management science, computer science, or closely related fields. Doctoral students near completion of their degrees will also be considered.
  • Demonstrated superior accomplishments, including scholarly research, teaching ability, promise of future contributions, and effective interaction with faculty colleagues, students, and external constituents.
  • In the embryonic stages of establishing your research, gaining visibility and a reputation for your work.
  • Willingness to teach at undergraduate, MBA, masters, and/or doctoral levels.
  • Note: Candidates who have not yet been conferred their degree will be appointed as an Instructor until the semester following the degree conferral.
Associate/Full Professor Requirements:
  • Ph.D. degree in operations management, operations research, management science, computer science, or closely related fields.
  • Demonstrated superior accomplishments, including scholarly research, teaching ability, promise of future contributions, and effective interaction with faculty colleagues, students, and external constituents.
  • An established research stream with a national/international reputation for expertise in that specified area.
  • Willingness to teach at undergraduate, MBA, masters, and/or doctoral levels.
