Job Summary
The Parking Systems Office at CU Boulder invites application for a Parking Systems and Equipment Coordinator! This role works to improve & maintain the organization's business technology systems. They will work to understand the business needs of the department and implement solutions by maintaining existing system functionality and managing supporting equipment. This includes system design & analysis, testing, configuration, process documentation, and training. Additionally, they will perform various administrative duties related to the department's IT systems including hardware procurement. This position is expected to become a content expert on the department's information systems and to be responsible for maintaining system documentation. Successful candidates will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and quickly learn new concepts. Training is provided to fill skill gaps for high potential candidates.

Who We Are
Parking Services is responsible for the construction, maintenance, enforcement, and permit sales for most of the university's existing and new parking facilities. We offer a variety of permit options to meet campus parking needs. In addition, Parking Services provides staffing and parking plans for thousands of annual campus events. We diligently strive to reduce and mitigate the impact of large campus events on daily university operations for permit holders and event guests.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
IT System & Equipment Maintenance 70%
- Maintain campus parking management systems (AIMS, ParkMobile, Offstreet, LPR, etc.).
- Manage Department Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Environments.
- Onboarding/Offboarding Department Employees technical devices and system needs.
- Provide tier 2 technical support and training to staff on parking software tools.
- Collaborate with university IT and third-party vendors to troubleshoot system issues and coordinate software updates.
- Ensure compliance with university data privacy policies (e.g., FERPA) and university IT protocols.
- Monitor integrations with university and third-party systems (e.g., student/faculty portals, finance, etc.).
- Assess impacts & schedule software updates with software partners.
- Procure, maintain, and track inventory of parking-related assets (e.g. computers, peripherals, mobile devices, LPR equipment).
- Script and query writing using SQL, XML, or Python.
System Documentation 20%
- Create documentation for current and future system configurations.
- Create documentation for unit processes in visual and written formats.
- Create user-facing instructional documents for routine tasks and troubleshooting.
Other Duties 10%
- Serve as a member of the campus Information Technology Community of Practice Team.
- Serve as a liaison to the campus Dedicated Desktop Support Team.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Salary: $60,945 - $67,830.

What We Require
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field (IT or Engineering) or equivalent experience (4 years).
What You Will Need
- Programming Language Experience (Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with Networking Concepts (Firewall, IPs, Servers).
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- System Administration (CRM, ERP, etc.).
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), User Stories, Use Case Diagrams, Business.
- Process Flow Diagrams (BPMN Preferred).
- Inventory Management/Auditing.
- Project Management Experience (Agile and Waterfall).
- Excellent Communication Skills with a variety of backgrounds.
- Detail Oriented.
- Analytical Problem Solving.
- Familiarity with AI Use Cases.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Masters in a Technical Field.
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Two (2) years of relevant job experience.
- Microsoft Power Platform Certifications.
- Salesforce Experience.
