What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

The postdoc is expected to work on themes related to online optimization of dynamical system and data-driven control, and to contribute to projects funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Department of Energy. The postdoc will have the opportunity to explore applications of theory, algorithms, and methods to problems in smart power systems, electrified transportation, and healthcare. Additional duties may include co-advising oh PhD students, proposal writing, and teaching.

What We Can Offer

The salary range is $50,000 to $60,000 per year.

What We Require

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Information Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.

What You Will Need

  • Expected expertise are in (a subset of) the areas of optimization theory (convex and nonconvex), nonlinear systems, hybrid systems. Familiarity with supervised learning methods is a plus.
