The Department of Physics at the University of Colorado Boulder encourages applications for a PostDoctoral Associate! The successful candidate will perform research in theoretical condensed matter physics under the supervision of professors Gurarie, Hermele, Lucas, Nandkishore and Radzihovsky.

Who We Are

The Boulder quantum condensed matter theory group is part of the Department of Physics at the University of Colorado Boulder. It constitutes a dynamic and collaborative group of researchers working on a range of topics at the frontiers of research. Faculty members of the group include Professors Victor Gurarie, Michael Hermele, Andrew Lucas, Rahul Nandkishore and Leo Radzihovsky.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Performing research in theoretical condensed matter physics under the supervision of the Boulder condensed matter theory faculty.

What We Can Offer

The salary for this full-time position is $65,000 annually. This PostDoctoral Associate also receive a range of benefits through the University of Colorado. Travel funds of $5,000 will be provided – these can be used either to support travel related to the candidates work at the University of Colorado, or for other reasonable research related expenses.

What We Require

  • The candidate should have a PhD in condensed matter theory or some closely related subdiscipline of physics by the time the position starts.

What You Will Need

  • Experience in analytical research in theoretical condensed matter physics.
