Job Summary
The Alex Whiteley Laboratory encourages applications for a cell biologist to study the role of Ubiquilins in protein degradation.
The Alex Whiteley Laboratory studies protein homeostasis and how protein regulation influences cancer and neurodegenerative disease. Specifically, we focus on a family of poorly understood regulators of the proteasome called ‘ubiquilins’ and how they promote degradation via the ubiquitin proteasome system. The Alex Whiteley lab is a well-funded, and enthusiastic environment!
