Job Summary

A postdoctoral position in the Spencer Lab is available for a cell biologist, cancer biologist, systems biologist (or similar) to perform research on single-cell proliferation-quiescence-senescence decisions.  In addition, there is a possibility to collaborate with biotech on a project. 

The Spencer Lab is located in the Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building, home of the interdisciplinary BioFrontiers Institute.  The Spencer Lab opened in August 2014 and is friendly, energetic, interdisciplinary, well-funded, and productive. We work at the interface of cell biology, cancer biology, and systems biology with a focus on single-cell heterogeneity, cell proliferation, cell-cycle withdrawal, and cancer drug resistance.

The starting salary range associated with this position is $56,484-$66,228 annually.

  • PhD completed or nearly completed in cell biology, cancer biology, systems biology, computational biology or similar.
