What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Research-level experimental design, data collection and data analysis in biochemistry, molecular biology and cell imaging:
- Biochemical analysis of phosphorylation for signaling pathway enzymes and downstream targets.
- Inducible gene expression, gene depletion and CRISPR/Cas9 knock-in gene editing in mammalian cells.
- Data collection, analysis and modeling of large-scale datasets collected by shotgun proteomics and RNAseq. Use of software package tools and R/python/Matlab coding for data analysis.
- Quantitative cell imaging, protein localization and interactome analysis.
- Scientific writing and manuscript preparation.
- Collaborative interactions with research team members.
What You Should Know
- 40 hour work week M-F, with occasional time-sensitive research tasks needed on weekends.

What We Require
- Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biosciences field (e.g. Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry).
- Competency and experience with biochemical and molecular biology assays and ability to learn and develop new protocols.
What You Will Need
- Strong aptitude and competency with independent research, including experimental design and execution, quantitative analysis and data interpretation, literature review, and critical thinking.
- Good communication and teaching skills.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Prior experience with molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry.
