The Department of Physics includes 54 tenured and tenure-track faculty performing cutting-edge research. Its graduate physics program draws ~1200 applications per year and is ranked by the National Research Council to be among the top 15 overall. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- The postdoctoral research position is to complete technical physics analysis work on the Department of Energy, Office of Science sPHENIX project.

Be Statements
What We Require
- The candidate must have a Ph.D. in nuclear physics, or proof of completion of degree within six months of the start of this position. The candidate must be fluent in statistical analysis techniques, software development, and high speed digital electronics.
What You Will Need
- The candidate needs to be familiar with the sPHENIX project technical details and be expert in the field of relativistic heavy ion physics.
