Job Summary

The Borden Lab in the Department of Mechanical Engineering encourages applications for two Postdoctoral Associates to work on microbubble photoacoustics and biomedical applications. The first position requires a background in ultrafast laser acoustics, acoustic imaging, and photoacoustic imaging. The second position requires a background in microbubble synthesis, including microfluidic flow-focusing, and ultrasound-mediated drug delivery with microbubbles.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Develop new laser acoustics and photoacoustics methods to investigate microbubbles and other probes, and/or develop microbubbles for molecular imaging and drug delivery.

  • PhD in Engineering or Applied Physics.
