Job Summary

The Center for the Theory of Quantum Matter (CTQM) at the University of Colorado Boulder fosters inter-disciplinary research in theoretical quantum many-body physics. Our faculty has expertise in condensed matter, atomic physics, quantum optics, quantum information, nuclear physics and black holes. Please see http://ctqm.colorado.edu/ for more information.

There will be one or more openings for a CTQM postdoctoral fellowship with an anticipated start date of Fall 2019 (although this may be flexible). Successful candidates will interact with CTQM faculty (Oliver DeWolfe, Victor Gurarie, Michael Hermele, Murray Holland, Emanuel Knill, Andrew Lucas, Rahul Nandkishore, Leo Radzihovsky, Ana Maria Rey, Paul Romatschke and Graeme Smith) and can also work with faculty throughout the Boulder physics department and at JILA. We encourage applications from candidates with interest in any of the sub-fields listed above, especially from those whose research interests and/or expertise span traditionally distinct sub-fields.

What We Require

  • Candidates should obtain a PhD in physics (or related field) prior to the start date of their fellowship.
