The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at CU Boulder is seeking a mid-infrared frequency comb scientist.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Carry out experiments with mid-infrared frequency combs and develop novel techniques for spectroscopy and thermal light detection using optical frequency combs.

The salary for this position will be $72,500.00 per year.

What We Require

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics or a closely related field, with at least 4 years of experience with infrared lasers and frequency combs.

What You Will Need

Significant knowledge in nonlinear optics, mid-infrared lasers and optics, and infrared spectroscopy. Ability to carry out independent research and summarize results in peer-reviewed journal articles and talks at professional conferences.

What We Would Like You to Have

4+ years of experience with laser and optical systems, computer modeling, and experimental control.
