What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
This Postdoctoral Associate will work with the team to develop photonic integrated circuits (PICs) based on silicon nitride and lithium niobate on insulator hybrid platform for biomedical imaging applications. The Postdoctoral Associate will be mainly involved in the design and modeling of PICs rather than their microfabrication. They will also be involved in grant reporting and new proposal writing.

The salary range associated with this position is $61,428 - $68,964 per year.

What We Require
- Completed PhD degree in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics.
- At least three years of experience in Lumerical, COMSOL, K-Layout, and L-Edit.
- At least three years of experience in PIC design.
What You Will Need
- Demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas is required: PIC, microwave photonics, and biomedical imaging.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Proficiency in Python, C++, Matlab, or Labview.
- Experience with microfabrication.
- Experience with FPGA programming.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Experience with Ansys Zemax OpticStudio.
