Job Summary

The Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology is looking for a Professional Research Assistant to function as a Laboratory Technician for the Drosophila research lab under Tin Tin Su.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Your specific responsibilities in this position will be to complete part of the project funded by an NIH R35 grant and to understand how tissues regenerate after radiation damage. You will conduct experiments designed by the project leader according to the aims of the grant and collect the data; participate in lab meetings; perform routine ordering for lab supples; and organize lab chemical and biological stores stocks.

What We Require

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelors Degree.  
  • Minimum one year Drosophila research experience.

What We Would Like You To Have

  • Two years or further commitment to the position is preferred.
