Job Summary

The Liu lab is searching for a Professional Research Assistant (PRA). The lab is interested in cancer cell biology and mitochondrial quality control related to neurodegenerative diseases. The candidate is expected to devote a majority of efforts on research and experimental studies with mammalian cells that involve live cell imaging, high throughput screening of small molecule libraries and CRISPR screening.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Conduct research under the supervision of the principle investigator.
  • Assume lab duties such as ordering, compliance and training new staff.

What We Can Offer

The salary for this full-time position is $35,000- $38,000 annually.

This is a two year commitment, minimum.

What We Require

  • A Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or related disciplines.

What You Will Need

  • Research experience in a laboratory at universities or companies.

What We Would Like You To Have

  • Molecular Biology, gene cloning, transfection, imaging, mammalian cell culture experience.
