Job Summary

The Liu lab is searching for a Professional Research Assistant position (PRA). The lab is interested in cancer cell biology and mitochondrial quality control related to neurodegenerative diseases.

This position involves research and experimental studies with mammalian cells that involve live cell imaging, high throughput screening of small molecule libraries and CRISPR screening.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Conduct research under the supervision of the principle investigator and lab duties such as ordering, compliance and training new lab members.

What We Can Offer

The salary range for this full-time position is $36,000- $38,000 annually.

What We Require

  • Bachelor degree in Biochemistry or equivalent discipline.

What You Will Need

  • Research experience in a laboratory at a University or Company.

What We Would Like You to Have

  • Molecular Biology, gene cloning, transfection, imaging, mammalian cell culture experience.
