Job Summary

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder welcomes applications for a Program Director for the Burridge Center for Finance. The Program Director position will work closely with the Center Director to a) execute activities designed by the Center Director to elevate the reputation of the Center (inter)nationally in its areas of excellence; b) work with Center Director to execute on strategy related to managing external stakeholder access and affiliation, including distributing materials and organizing logistics for Board meetings (Center Director sets Board agenda and directs management of relationships with Board); c) manage relationships with students with regard to the co-curricular activities of the Center, including helping to develop the portfolio of co-curricular activities most important to preparing students for successful careers in the finance field and executing on these activities (e.g., Trek planning, speaker invitations/logistics, venue management for events), including tracking and coordinating success of these programs through tools like Salesforce; and d) as requested, assist Center Director and career development/admissions staff with placing and recruiting finance students at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Student Event/Program Management
  • Manage student services, events and programs.
  • Manage relationships with students, including helping with the selection of students to participate in center activities, and responsible for providing a high quality student co-curricular experience around finance.
  • Promote the long-term engagement of graduating students with the Center and Leeds.
Program Development and Management
  • Work with Center Director to evaluate current Center offerings and investigate new potential programs to increase student preparedness and success in finance careers. 
  • Work with Center Director in developing and executing on these programs.
Support of Center Operations
  • Support Center Director in organizing and executing on activities of the Center, including helping to manage budget and expenses, executing on Center activities, logistics associated with Board meetings, and coordinating meetings/events for external stakeholders.
Liaise with Key Stakeholders
  • Facilitate high quality interactions between the Center and faculty, advisors, staff (especially career development, recruitment, and marketing/communications, including creation and dissemination of a newsletter, keeping the website content up to date, managing social media communication, in coordination with the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications), other Center Directors, students and the community.

Salary range starts at $60,000.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. 
  • 3 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite software (Word, Excel, Power Point).

What We Would Like You To Have

  • Experience across functions in a college/grad school/university environment with a special focus on building constituencies inside and outside of the campus environment. 
  • Experience working with students both in an advisory role and in an educational role. 
  • Experience with SalesForce.
