Job Summary

The Program Manager, Undergraduate Career Data & Student Engagement, plays a key role in enhancing career-related data collection and reporting for undergraduate students in the Leeds School of Business. This position is responsible for developing systematic approaches to surveying students, tracking career outcomes efficiently, and visualizing data using Salesforce dashboards and reports. Additionally, the role contributes to the broader mission of student engagement and career readiness by assisting with experiential learning opportunities, supporting specialized student programs and mentoring initiatives, and supporting additional career readiness and student engagement efforts.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Career Data Collection & Reporting

  • Design and implement structured methods to collect career-related data from undergraduate business students (both full-time and internships).
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards and reports to track career placement outcomes, student engagement, and key performance indicators.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by managing consistent updates and audits within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with career services, academic departments, and other constituents to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Analyze trends in career placements and provide actionable insights for improvement.

Student Engagement & Success Initiatives

  • Support experiential learning opportunities, including micro-internships/internships, community outreach projects, case competitions, and other project-based learning initiatives.
  • Assist in administrating specialized student programs, mentoring initiatives, and other student success efforts.
  • Work closely with faculty and staff to create resources that enhance student career readiness.
  • Contribute to the ideation, development, and implementation of student outreach strategies to enhance participation in career-related initiatives.
  • Assist in the administration and tracking of required career touchpoints.

Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement

  • Standardize survey methodologies and tracking processes to improve efficiency in data collection.
  • Recommend and implement standard processes for using Salesforce and other tools to streamline reporting.
  • Support process improvements across student programs by demonstrating technology and data insights.
  • Partner with various partners to ensure seamless data sharing and integration across departments.

Communications & Event Support

  • Develop and implement a Career Development and Student Engagement communication plan in coordination with the Senior Director and Leeds Marketing and Communications team.
  • Ensure that communication among programs is aligned and consistent with program goals.
  • Provide support for career development, mentoring and special programs events.

What You Should Know

  • This full-time position is expected to work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend hours. This position offers a hybrid work modality, with two days of remote work and three days of in-person work per week.

What We Can Offer

  • The annual hiring range for this position is $54,060-$60,000. Relocation is available for eligible candidates.

What We Require

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of experience in data analysis, student affairs, or a related area.

What You Will Need

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and survey platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines optimally, including a high level of organizational skills.
  • Proficient in evaluating data to understand issues, trends, and opportunities.
  • Ability to thrive both within a team and independently to achieve results within designated timelines.

What We Would Like You to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience in student development, career coaching or mentoring.
  • Experience with program implementation strategies specific to business students.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms for data tracking and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Qualtrics, social media, and Microsoft Office Suite.
