What You Should Know
- This position is eligible for our Facilities Management Employee Referral Program.
- This in-person positions anticipated work schedule is Monday – Thursday, 5:00 am – 3:30 pm. Weekend and shift work may be required due to special events, projects or scheduling issues.
- This is an essential services position. Incumbent will respond after hours during emergencies and report to work for regular assigned shift during emergency campus closures to assist with getting the campus re-opened.
What We Can Offer
The annual salary rate for this role is $43,068.
If you have prior state-classified experience in the same class series as this position, your pay may be set at a higher amount per the state Step Pay Program implemented on July 1, 2024.

What We Require
- Must have a valid Colorado driver's license. A Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) medical physical from the DOT will be required within 90 days of hire, and training will be provided to the successful candidate.
- Two years of job-related experience.
- Must be a Colorado resident to apply.
- Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly, push/pull loads exceeding 100lbs.
What You Will Need
- Basic mechanical abilities and understanding of mechanics and hydraulics.
- Ability to perform physical work including hauling, lifting, and moving.
- Ability to plan, organize, and direct other workers, to exercise sound judgment, and to follow oral and written instructions.
- Interpersonal skills (works well with other people, professional when dealing with customers).
- Good reliability and functional computer skills.
- Skilled at record keeping and reporting.
What We Would Like You to Have
- Experience operating 1 and ¾ ton vehicles and able to operate minor hydraulic equipment (lift gates, pallet jack, recycling/trash compactors).
- One year of supervisory experience.
- A valid Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) endorsement.
