Job Summary

We seek to fill a Research Associate (“post-doctoral” researcher-level) position to work on an institution-wide educational transformation project in the Center for STEM Learning (CSL) and College of Engineering and Applied Sciences (CEAS) at the University of Colorado (CU) Boulder.  The overall project seeks to create a process and tools for systemic transformation of departmental evaluation of teaching. Ultimately, we hope to improve teaching and learning on the Boulder campus, through collective learning and cultural change, and by promoting the use of research-based instructional and assessment strategies (see below for additional details on the project). Sixteen departments / units across three colleges are currently engaged in this process and the project is expanding to work with all departments in the College of Engineering & Applied Science (CEAS). This position will largely be focused on programmatic efforts (e.g., facilitating working groups within CEAS departments), with opportunities for dissemination through research and publication.

Who We Are

  • Supporting faculty and departments in the change process by helping identify tools and assessments to improve teaching and learning measures in multiple disciplines.
