EBIO's disciplinary strengths include ecology, evolution, genetics, behavior, biology education research and systematics. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • The responsibilities of this position are to collaborate with other researchers, attend scheduled meetings, the analysis of microbial gene sequence data from environmental soil samples, the graphical presentation of data, and summarizing the results from analyses in writing.

What We Can Offer

The hiring rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.

What We Require

  • A Bachelor of Arts degree in EBIO or related field and prior experience conducting microbial ecology analyses.

What You Will Need

  • The skills necessary for the duties of this job include ability to: a) perform molecular analyses for microbial communities in environmental soil samples; b) use bioinformatics software to analyze microbial marker gene data; c) use statistical methods to analyze microbial diversity data; d) conduct scientific graphing and writing.
