Job Summary

This temporary research assistant position is for assisting Dr. Jared Stewart with work performed at the USDA in Fort Collins. The candidate must have experience working with Dr. Stewart on growing Brassica rapa and Arabidopsis thaliana under specific conditions, involving heat treatments and treatment with hydrogen peroxide, with assessment of leaf area, growth rate, and other plant responses.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

This position is for assisting Dr. Jared Stewart with work performed at the USDA in Fort Collins involving growing Brassica rapa and Arabidopsis thaliana under specific conditions, including heat treatment, treatment with hydrogen peroxide, and assessment of leaf area, growth rate, and other plant responses.

What We Can Offer

The hiring rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.
