What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Conduct research under the mentorship and supervision of Prof. Adam Kaufman
  • The research will be focused on gaining expertise in quantum metrology and many-body physics, as well as on an atom array system based on ultracold strontium.

What We Can Offer

  • The hourly rate for this full-time summer position is $22.
  • This temporary position is not eligible for benefits; however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

What We Require

  • Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Computer Science.

What You Will Need

  • Basic knowledge of quantum metrology and many-body physics.
  • Computer: advanced Java, advanced Python, advanced C++, advanced Microsoft Office, advanced Google Suite, proficient Mathematica, proficient LaTeX, proficient LabVIEW, proficient LTSpice, proficient MPB, proficient SIMION, proficient Git, proficient Clojure, proficient Tcl, basic SolidWorks.
  • Machine shop: basic lathe, band saw, CNC and milling machine operation, proficient blueprint reading.
