Job Summary
The Positive Emotion and Psychopathology Lab (PI: Gruber) is seeking a part-time hourly position for a research coordinator for the coming academic year. The position will oversee project coordination on an NSF-funded project examining emotion and mental health in young adults and community samples with mood difficulties and will involve opportunities to contribute to other ongoing studies in the lab if interested. Position duties include, for example, maintaining lab study tracking logs and databases, collecting data, monitoring longitudinal participant tracking, and facilitation of daily administrative lab tasks.
Who We Are
The Positive Emotion and Psychopathology Lab (www.gruberpeplab.com) is an interdisciplinary group of researchers and students under the directorship of Dr. June Gruber who work together towards understanding positive emotional processes and their relevance for understanding adaptive and maladaptive relevant psychological-health outcomes. Our research uses a multi-modal affective science approach to understand positive emotion and reward-related difficulties in psychopathology. $20.00 per hour for approximately 20 hours per week. This is a part-time position that is not eligible for benefits. This position is temporary and limited to 1 year.

What We Require
1. Prior clinical psychology research lab experience (minimum 2 semesters). 2. Prior experience working directly in research pertaining to mood disorders and/or mental health in emerging adults. 3. Experience using SPSS, R, and Microsoft Excel software. 4. Excellent organizational skills
