Job Summary

The Department of Computer, Electrical & Energy Engineering (ECEE) at CU Boulder is seeking a Temporary Researcher to work with the Barnes research group.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Make measurement on the effects of weak magnetic fields on changing the growth rates of HT1080 fibrosarcoma cells and related changes in the chemical concentrations of reactive oxygen species. Complete some experiments in progress and write up the results.

The hire rate for this full-time position will be $20.00 per hour.

What We Require

Master's degree in a related field, and experience in cell cultures, magnetic field distributions and chemical reaction rates.

What You Will Need

Ability to grow HT1080 cancer cells, measure magnetic field distributions, and contribute to a journal paper.

What We Would Like You to Have

Experience with the systems currently used in the Barnes research group for the ongoing measurements.
