What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Carry out experiments and modeling of quantum squeezing with optical frequency combs and integrated photonics. Explore applications to trace gas sensing, spectroscopy, timekeeping and astronomy.

The hire rate for this position will be $32.00 per hour.

What We Require

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Accepted and enrolling into the Physics PhD graduate program at CU Boulder in Fall 2025.

What You Will Need

Experience with optical frequency combs, lasers, heterodyne measurements, precision measurements, and spectroscopy.

What We Would Like You to Have

Knowledge of laser heterodyne and optical interference, python computing, laser frequency stabilization, integrated photonics.
