Job Summary

The Luger Lab is looking for a motivated Temporary Researcher for a minimum of 8 hours per week, to work on chromatin reconstitution and characterization. The applicant will purify proteins and DNA, perform assembly assays, and analyze these using a variety of methods. They will be responsible for performing experiments, keeping a lab journal, and interpreting their results. They will also help with general lab chores

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Perform general lab duties, perform and interpret experiments, maintain lab notes, attend lab meetings, read the scientific literature, operate complicated equipment.

The hourly pay for this position is $18 hourly.

What We Require

  • Applicants must be engaged in undergraduate studies in Biochemistry or Molecular Biology at an accredited University or Community College, and must have successfully finished at least four semesters.

What You Will Need

  • The applicant must have general lab and analytical skills, must have at least six weeks of relevant lab experience (either in an academic or industry setting).
