Job Summary
The College of Engineering & Applied Science (CEAS) seeks a Temporary Student Services Program Manager! In this role, the Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating the engineering dean’s office undergraduate academic operations activities, financial and administrative support, and supporting staff and student organizations within the Engineering Hub.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Academic Operations:
- Provides administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Students’ portfolio and the Student Support & Advising Services (SSAS) team.
- Coordinates engineering dean’s office undergraduate academic operations activities.
- Manages engineeringdeansoffice@colorado.edu email account daily and responds/routes as appropriate.
- Manages CEAS Academic Advising telephone/voicemail.
- Updates CEAS undergraduate student academic records, to include major and minor changes and associated academic advisor assignments, deferrals and cancellations, etc.
- Supervises paperwork sent to Registrar’s Office to ensure it is completed accurately and within their service timeframe.
- Leads CEAS summer 2025 baccalaureate degree certification process.
- Assists with December 2025 college-wide graduation ceremony, distributing honors medals, FE Exam cords, and reading names at the ceremony.
- Assists with workflow for fall 2025 graduating undergraduate student awards.
- Undertakes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Engineering Hub:
- Liaises with staff and student organizations within in the Engineering Hub.
- Maintains Engineering Hub Teams and SharePoint site.
- Supervises common areas of the Engineering Hub and ensures community members contribute to a clean and professional environment.
- Manages Engineering Hub occupants and Hub-affiliates key and card access.
Budget and Financial Support:
- Coordinates budget functions for Assistant Dean for Students, SSAS, and the Engineering Hub.
What You Should Know
This is a temporary, full-time position anticipated to last through December 24th, 2025. This position will work in-person on-campus at the Engineering Hub location in the Engineering Center Mondays-Fridays, 8:00am-5:00pm (with occasional evening or weekend work).
What We Can Offer
The hire rate for this position is $30.00 per hour.

What We Require
- Bachelor’s degree. Equivalent experience may substitute for the degree on a year for year basis.
- 2 years of experience in higher education academic operations or student services administration that includes budget and fiscal management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.

What We Would Like You to Have
- Experience with technologies such as Zoom, Canvas, Qualtrics, Google Workspace, etc.
- Experience working with STEM students in a higher education setting.
