The Department of Economics invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Microeconomics to begin August 2020.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

Job duties include conducting research in microeconomics, teaching graduate and undergraduate students, and providing professional service to the department, university, and the economics profession.

What We Require

  • The position requires a Ph.D. in economics or Ph.D. in a closely related discipline that fosters microeconomic research including but not limited to business, public policy, mathematics, or statistics. While ordinarily, you should have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. by August 2020, it is possible for you to have finished all but the dissertation to begin work as an instructor while completing the degree.  
  • A Ph.D. is required for reappointment.
