Who We Are

The Department of Classics at the University of Colorado Boulder is a leader in teaching and research at the university, with fourteen contract faculty members whose research focuses on the literature, culture, history, and archaeology of the ancient Mediterranean.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Teaching two courses per semester; mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in Classics.

  • The anticipated start date for this position is August 15, 2022.

  • This position is a fixed-term, one academic year, non-tenure-track, at-will appointment.

What We Can Offer

The salary for this full-time position is $60,000 annually. A $2,000 stipend is available for research expenses.

  • Candidates must hold a Ph.D. by August 1, with a specialization in Roman Art and Archaeology.
