Job Summary

The Department of Economics in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor position. The top candidate will be a teaching specialist and have a demonstrated record of teaching excellence in economics courses and a passion for undergraduate teaching. The expected teaching load is six semester courses per year.

What We Require

  • The position requires a Ph.D. in economics or Ph.D. in a closely related discipline.  While ordinarily, you should have completed all requirements for the Ph.D. by August 2025, it is possible for you to have finished all but the dissertation to begin work as an instructor while completing the degree.

  • Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics or related discipline and evidence of substantial experience and expertise in teaching undergraduates.
